Why Choose Bedouin Future Camp
Bedouin Future Camp is the real deal for travelers seeking an authentic, no frills desert experience in Wadi Rum. Run by Salameh and his family, this camp strips away the luxury extras and focuses on what truly matters: genuine Bedouin hospitality, incredible food cooked under the sand, and personal connections with the desert and its people. If you want to experience Wadi Rum the way Bedouins actually live it, this is the place.
The camp offers traditional Bedouin tents with simple beds, clean sheets and warm blankets. Bathrooms are shared but well maintained and spotlessly clean, with hot water showers available. There is no air conditioning and no unnecessary luxury, just the raw beauty of the desert, a warm campfire, and a sky full of stars. Guests consistently praise how clean everything is despite the basic setup.
What makes Bedouin Future Camp truly special is Salameh himself. He is known for going above and beyond to create memorable experiences. One guest asked for something more cultural than a standard tour, and Salameh invited them to sleep under the stars next to the family's camel enclosure, help with the animals, and share Arabian coffee and fresh camel milk. That kind of genuine, spontaneous hospitality is something no luxury camp can offer. The zarb dinner, slow cooked underground, is consistently praised as one of the best in Wadi Rum.
